anyawy, since I know you're all just DYING to hear about my life and all your lives are clearly empty without my addition to your inboxes, here's a lovely little update from yours truly... so, feel free to ignore this. I promise I won't come after you with a steak knife (however, machete's are fair game.)
Monday was probably the worst day EVER. I didn't sleep much and I got a massive lactose attack during B-block, so that was just heaps of fun and then I took a nap on Ellis's couch (which smells oddly, yet not surprisingly, of weed and cats) and then proceeded to go to the worst dance class I've been to since freshman year, but I'll get to the dance stuff later...
I pretty much have the best schedule ever. I either have foods and sewing, or gov and aerobics every day. plus, I get to sleep in until 8 (a luxury I haven't had since middle school) My classes are pretty excellent... you know, good teachers, good, low level of HW... I'm living the ideal senior year.
I'm not entirely sure what to expect out of some of my classes, though. Foods... well, any of you who've experienced my toast will already know this, but I kinda fail at cooking (although I did succeed at making a pizza today and then ate all of it in one sitting...) so we'll see if I get any better by the end of the semester. I'm a little undecided about sewing. I mean, I can sew pretty well... infact, I'd venture to say I can sew really well, but my teacher... I dunno if she's gonna let me do my own thing or not. I'd really like to just get on the sewing machine and start cranking out my costumes, but she keeps going on and on about fabric types and how to read the backs of patterns etc. I know this stuff is important, but I also already know it (and she knows I know it...) I just hope that once we start using the machines she lets me go at my own pace...
So, this year I'm in 4 clubs (although I'd like to be a part of 6...). I joined green club, the environmental club at our school, and I'm returning to variations as the layout person again. High-O-Scope will be returning as well (JOIN YOU FOOLS WE NEED WRITERS!) and, along with the infamous SFM (scott fucking miller), I'm editor and layout. Miss Carly and I are also starting up a new and improved French club (not just for frenchies!) so that should be fun... I mean, come on, our shirts are gonna say "make cheese, not war" on them!
and now the moment you've all been waiting for so you can ceremoniously skip it... the dance portion of this journal! So, for those of you who are still reading this and don't know, I got into advanced this year... sort of. I'm doing it for a month and then... we'll see. Well, I'm not so sure I want to wait out the month. The girls are really unwelcoming (except heather... she's a godsend) and the atmosphere is just really uncomfortable. I think I might go back to pre-advanced if things don't get better, since then I'd be with people I like and get along with and I'd get a senior solo and, frankly, I'd get to be at the top of the class, instead of straggling at the bottom. Call me selfish, but I like to be in the front...
Cosplay updates... for sakuracon I'll be attempting Ritsu from K-ON, Cornelia from Code Geass and Yuan from Tales of Symphonia (weapon, cape and wings, if I can!) with any luck ~Triddy will be Guilford to my Cornelia, so that should be epic. Anyone else venturing up to seattle?
as a parting message to you all, I give you this piece of wisdom:
At least YOU'RE not Scott Miller either...

My karma ran over your dogma. Loser.
OMFGYES! I love Cornelia, that's one of the few animes I still occasionally keep up with. I hope you have a Guilford, because that would be amazing and I want pictures of it~
I also hope zellar - your sewing teacher?- let's you work on costumes. Ais tried to do that for her sewing class, but she was strict and only allowed Ais to sneak away with a kimono instead of a shirt. But then again, you have alot more experience. Good luck with that!
Also, I'm glad you were able to make pizza. I finally am making decent toast at my new house. Go us!
And you're right, I can never think life is too bad because I'm not Scott Fucking Miller. :/

yeah, zellar... I hope she lets me do my thing. I wouldn't mind doing the assignments, if only I could get through them at my own pace instead of waiting around for everyone else to learn how to thread a needle...
soooooo glad you're not SFM XD

Maybe she'll even not make you have to do them if she realizes you've got the skills. That's what happened with me. And I think the sooner you finish the shorts/skirt pattern, the more time you'll have for your other projects. I'm sure you'll have more freedom after the assignments and first project are over.
